Clinique Chubby Stick in Mighty Mimosa

Hi beauties!

How are you all doing today? So I am back today with another one of my favorite Clinique products, the amazingly awesome Chubby Sticks. To be honest I just love lipstick crayons. They're so easy to use and I like how they look like markers.

Today's review is on the chubby stick in Mighty Mimosa ($17). This one wears like a sheer strawberry pink and it's sooo pretty. It pairs perfectly with my cheek pop in peach. This is just one of those simple little makeup staples that fills my heart with joy.

If you like the really natural makeup look and don't mind reapplying your lipstick, then Chubby Sticks could be great for you. Personally, I prefer a stronger eye look, so I try to keep a more natural lip look.

What do you guys think of Chubby Sticks? Thank you for reading this post and I will see you soon! :)

Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? I hope you all had a fun St. Patrick's Day. So we have a brand new layout designed by Yen today and I love it sooo much. It reminds me of makeup candy and all of the colors have me really excited for spring.

Speaking of which, today I will be reviewing Clinique's Cheek Pop in Peach Pop ($21). This is a brand new blush that Clinique has put out and it comes in four universally flattering shades. The blushes are adorably packaged like gerbera daisies and housed in a small glass pot. I am a huge flower lover and blush hoarder, so when I saw these it was a no brainer that I had to get my hands on one of them.

I tried on two colors Peach pop and Ginger pop, but Peach pop looked the most natural and pretty on my light medium skin tone. Ginger pop looked too bright on me. The blush is really soft and goes on smoothly. However, because this color is so light I recommend applying it with a denser brush to really get more color on.

I have to say that Clinique really did a beautiful job with the packaging. It's compact, cute, and super pretty. These blushes are everything Maybelline bouncy blushes should've been. All I want to do is fill my bath tub with Chubby sticks and blushes and swim through them.

Have any of you tried this new blush line? If so, what were your thoughts? Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

Clinique Chubby Sticks

Hello everyone!

How is everyone doing today? Today I will be reviewing two chubby sticks from Clinique. I've always seen Chubby Sticks around but I never got around to trying them. So when I saw a deal on Sephora to trade in my VIB points to get two of them I jumped on it. I received two full sized sticks in the shades Curviest Caramel and Mega Melon. Both them are super wearable and fun to apply. Out of the two I prefer Curviest Caramel more because it is less bright and more like a sheer MLBB nude dark pink. Mega Melon looks more like a saturated peach. Mega Melon is really pretty too but it's a bit bright for me and brings out the redness in my face, so I wouldn't really be able to wear it alone.

I really love the formula of both of them. I'd say they are somewhat hydrating but not anywhere as hydrating as the Tarte Lipsurgence pencils. Anyways, I still really love them and I've been wearing Curviest Caramel by itself to the gym lately. I definitely plan on visiting a Clinique counter to try on a few more soon.

Clinique Chubby Sticks retail for $17 a piece and you can get them here. Have any of you tried Chubby Sticks before? If so, which ones are your favorites? Please let us know in the comments below! Thanks for reading! :)

Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara

Hello everyone,

Recently I have been on a mascara kick. I've been searching high and low for the perfect drugstore mascara because hey! Why spend 30 on brand name mascaras when I can get them way cheaper? Right? I first started with Clinique which is still pretty fancy, but has a much lower price than the last mascara I tried which had a 30 dollar price tag (waaay too much). I thought Clinique's Naturally Glossy Mascara in Jet Brown ($16) was mediocre. Honestly, I was really excited to try it out but it fell short of my expectations. It's not that it was bad, it's just that I had much higher expectations after reading the good reviews on Sephora.

First, I really liked the color. The brown is perfect dark chocolate brown which matches my hair just right. However, the mascara I got felt like there wasn't much in the tube. I really had to swish it around to get some goop on my wand. Then, it has quite a bit of fallout. After wearing it I ended up with raccoon eyes a bit. Overall, it definitely is not a volumnizing mascara but it does give some length. I would say that it's a much less dazzling version of Lancome's Definicils mascara.

I probably would not repurchase this item again and would opt for something comparable yet cheaper such as Boot's No7 Extreme Length Mascara ($8) instead.

What are your favorite mascaras? Let us know in the comments below! Thanks for reading. :)
