Laura Mercier Eye Colour in Pewter

Hello beauties! How are you doing today? What's new with you? So remember a while back when I went hunting for a gray eyeshadow? Well, I actually found two I loved! One of them was from Smashbox which I previously wrote about and this one is Laura Mercier Eye Colour in Pewter ($23). It's a gorgeous satin gray color with shimmer in it. Sephora describes it was a greenish gray, but it looks more like a dirty gray to me.

The eyeshadow is super buttery and really pretty. I think I will use it as an accent color in the crease of my eyes to deepen my other gray eyeshadow.

I've never really had any Laura Mercier products before, but I like how clean the packaging looks and how high quality the products are.

Look at that color!

Do any of you own any Laura Mercier products? If so, what do you think of them? Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post. Have a wonderful rest of the week! :)

Stila Eye Liners

Hello beauties!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Yen came to visit in Cali this week, so we had so much fun being girls and got caught up on life over lattes and good food. Today's review will be on Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Alloy (full size $20) and Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Triggerfish ($20). So I've been shopping around for some new eyeliners and I stumbled upon these two at Sephora. The liquid liner is a light grey matte color and works really well for drawing fine to medium lines. It's super easy to use and the liner stays put all day. I'm definitely keeping this.

The pencil liner in Triggerfish is a twist out liner that goes on pretty easy and stays well on the upper lash line. It didn't stay well at all for my lower lash line. The color is a dark gray with subtle silver sparkles in it. It's really pretty. If you don't need a super thin line or are looking to line your bottom lashes, then this could be really good for you. Unfortunately for me, the line just comes out too thick and waxy for me. One other drawback is that once the pencil twists out, it doesn't twist back in.

I wish Stila would come out with a pencil eye liner that can be sharpened to my liking. I would be all over it. What are your favorite eye liners? Do share in the comments below! Thank you for reading and have a great day. :)

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow

Hello everyone!

Today I will be reviewing the Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows in Skinny Jeans (left) and Birthday Suit (right).
Blendable, beautiful...this do-it-all shadow lines, shades, and contours your eyes with a lovely crease-proof, smudge-proof formula. Mix & match...layer on for the desired depth...go as sheer or as dramatic as you like with buildable color. These gorgeous creams come in 12 blendable shades that can be worn alone or mixed for endless custom looks. You'll love the glass jar...remember to close it tight to keep your cream shadow creamy & dreamy!

First of all, how adorable is Benefit packaging? I decided to go with these two colors because I felt that they were more everyday wearable colors, especially the brown Birthday Suit color. It's like a soft light to medium brown with a slight shimmer and it blends so nicely with my fingers. I love that I can wear it alone as a single light shade or use it as a backdrop to my bolder eyeshadow colors. Skinny jeans is a creamy light gunmetal that can be built up to have a smoky eye effect. I bought it because I wanted to pair it with my Farenheit Fab gold color (not pictured because it doesn't blend nearly as well as the other two). I wore these eyeshadows with my Urban Decay Primer Potion and they stayed put for 12 hours straight no joke. Also, I have dry skin and non oily lids.

These eyeshadows/liners retail for $19 and I really like them! I still want to try out more colors but so far I am satisfied with the three that I have. Definitely check them out and try on some colors at a Benefit counter near you. So easy, so blendy. Love live Benefit cosmetics!

Xoxo
