Korres Wild Rose Cream

Hello beauties,

Today's review will be on the Korres Wild Rose skin care line. I got these both through Sephora and I'm really happy with them. The Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizing & Brightening Cream ($35) is really nice and has a distinctive rose scent to it. It comes in a generous glass pot and I could see myself using this for around two months. I have super dry skin so I run through face creams like water. It leaves my skin super soft and hydrated. The texture is creamy without being sticky or too thick. It's just right. As for anti-aging I don't see much tightening in my skin, but that's fine with me. For $35, I think it's a really nice face cream. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

I like the Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial ($48) just as much. It leaves my skin soft and smooth the next day with no irritation. Yup I would buy this again too.

August Sample Society Box

1. Korres Cherry Lip Gloss in 33 Natural (full size $17)- Yayy! I was so excited to get a Korres product in my box because I love natural beauty products. The lip gloss smells like cherry Starburst to me and the color is a smidge darker than my natural lip color, making it a very good every day sheer lip gloss. The texture is a bit sticky. Overall, I really like this lip gloss and the next time I go to Sephora I'm going to try out a few more colors.

2. Jane Iredale PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner (full size $16.50)- Ok, I can always use a lash booster. This one is pretty good it gave my lashes more volume and kept my mascara from falling out. I'm not sure if I would specifically go out of my way to buy it because I am so happy with my Great Lash mascara, but it's pretty good!

3. Dr. T's Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30 (full size $42)- Hmmm, I feel half half on this product. I love how this sunscreen contains antioxidants and is good for your skin. I like how lightweight it is as well. The only thing that bothers me is that it melts into my eyes a few hours later which causes them to sting. Because I normally don't wear makeup I need a sunscreen that will stay completely matte on my face for hours. For that reason I probably will not purchase this product.

4. Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream (full size $26)- Oooooo! A Dr. Hauschka product! I've been seeing this line in Germany for so many years but I haven't really picked up much from his line. This cleansing cream is super gentle and good for sensitive skin. It comes out in a paste and you're supposed to roll it onto your skin and then wash off. It smells like a mixture of apples and roses, very soft and pleasant. I would definitely buy this product again.

5. Brad Ultra Peel (full size $175)- An exfoliating gel without exfoliating beads? Whaaaaat? This was the most interesting product I received in my box this month. It's a clear gel that exfoliates your skin without having to physically scrub it. After using it my skin looked smoother and cleaner than before. I have to admit the price tag is a bit too scary for me, but for those who can afford it it's quite good.

This was an awesome month's box from Sample Society and I was really pleased with everything inside. I can't wait for next month's box! Thank you for reading and I really hope you enjoyed this post. Korres Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial

Hello everyone!

Today I will be reviewing Korres Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial (full size $45). When I first saw this product in one of my Glossybox magazines, I was intrigued. Then, when I saw that Sephora was offering it as a VIB beauty reward item for 100 points, I jumped on it.

I love overnight face masks because they are so easy to use and great for dry skin. I used this product as an overnight treatment, and it left my skin soft and smooth in the morning. I can't really remember what it smelled like to be honest haha. The texture is an easily spreadable light paste and very similar to Clark's Botanicals Deep Moisture Mask. If you have dry skin and you want a more natural product for hydration, I would highly recommend this one. Have any of you tried this product? If so, what were your thoughts on it? Thank you so much for reading!

Korres Pomegranate Regimen Kit

Last weekend was the grand opening of TJ Maxx in Puyallup and on a whim and well, out of boredom, I decided to head out there praying that most people will be at the fair. Boy was I incredibly wrong! Even though I got lucky with parking, but the store was packed with 90% women packing their carts like the store was closing business, they've never seen clothes before or this is their first time being outside shopping. It was insane! My main goal was getting a kettle and only a kettle, but $60 later, I did get a kettle and a few birthday gifts for my best friend and Korres pomegranate regiment kit which retails for $30, but I got it for half. I've been a fan of Korres products for a really long time now and finding this at half the price was just as exciting as trying out new things.

It's been a week since using the pomegranate scrub and pomegranate cream-gel. I've used the white tea facial cleanser and the evening eye cream a couple times, which are really good! I have pretty dry skin from time to time especially near my mouth and where my t-zone is. The first time I used the pomegranate scrub, my face was incredibly smooth after. What I love the most about the scrub was how much of the exfoliating beads there was! Some of the products I've used in the past just doesn't cut it, but this was amazing! The cream-gel is really nice too and the scent is light and fresh since I know my face can be sensitive to heavily fragrant moisturizers.

For the price I paid, it was definitely worth it and I still have a lot of product left to use. Also, I recommend only using the scrub maybe every other day or once a week. It'll leave your skin dry if you try to use it every day.

XOXO Yen

Buttery Soft Coral Lips

Hi girls,

It seems like I just can't get enough of coral colored lips. They are so pretty for the summer. This week I tried Fresh's Sugar Lip Treatment in Coral which is just gorgeous. The color isn't really orange but instead a deeper rosier coral. I love it! I also got the Korres Lip Butter in Pomegranate and it goes really well with the Fresh Coral Tinted Lip Treatment.

The colors are so vibrant that you won't need much more than some simple makeup to go along with it. Here are some photos of the product and one of me wearing just the Fresh Coral Lip Treatment.Coral can be a tricky color to wear, but I've seen it work for many different skin tones, so the best way is to just go and try it on. Have fun!

Please excuse my bad lighting. :)
