Clinique Chubby Stick in Mighty Mimosa

Hi beauties!

How are you all doing today? So I am back today with another one of my favorite Clinique products, the amazingly awesome Chubby Sticks. To be honest I just love lipstick crayons. They're so easy to use and I like how they look like markers.

Today's review is on the chubby stick in Mighty Mimosa ($17). This one wears like a sheer strawberry pink and it's sooo pretty. It pairs perfectly with my cheek pop in peach. This is just one of those simple little makeup staples that fills my heart with joy.

If you like the really natural makeup look and don't mind reapplying your lipstick, then Chubby Sticks could be great for you. Personally, I prefer a stronger eye look, so I try to keep a more natural lip look.

February Glossybox

Hello everyone! How are you all today? I hope your week is going well. I'm sorry for the late post. Yesterday I got into a car accident when a truck tried to make pate out of me on the freeway, so I literally just spent the rest of the day snuggling my cat in bed. But, all is well and onto February's Glossybox!

I have to say I was happy with this month's box. There were at least two items I really liked. Let's take a look inside..

1. Puffy the Eyebag Slayer Wake Up Under Eye Patches ($11 for box of 3) - I love these eye patches! This was my favorite item in the entire box. The box comes with 3 sets of eye patches that stick well to your skin. They're like jello sucking pads that stay put like stickers. I love how I can stick them on, do something for 30 minutes and throw them away. I have to say they only lightened my dark circles a smudge, but it makes me happy when I know I am doing something proactive for my skin. I thought these were super fun and I would definitely buy them again.

2. Nail Couture in City of Angels ($18)- Wow, 18 for a nail polish? Sometimes I really wonder how nail polish evolved to be so expensive. Anyways, I think it's a really pretty ballet pink color that would look great on many skin tones. I plan on trying it out once I remove my current gel mani.

3. Aqua Lacquer in Splashing Scarlett ($14)- Ahhh, I feel so lucky to receive this gloss in my box. A full size pretty strawberry lip gloss? Yes please! The color is a sheer reddish pink and looks good for those no makeup days.



4. Kala Color Intense Pencil ($15)- This eyeliner goes on like a wet intense black. However, I had some trouble getting it to glide evenly without clumps. I think it would've been so much better if it came with a smudger on the end. Nothing compares to the deep, rich color of this eyeliner. Transform your eyes, add gorgeous definition and make the whites whiter by simply drawing the line. Ideal for use on the inner water line of your eye, as well as the outer lash. Don’t worry, you can blend and play, but it will last all day... and all night.

5. COLOUR FANATIC Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier for Color-Treated Hair ($24)- I have yet to use this multi spray yet, but I will later. I know Pureology makes great products so I'm looking forward to trying this. August Sample Society Box

1. Korres Cherry Lip Gloss in 33 Natural (full size $17)- Yayy! I was so excited to get a Korres product in my box because I love natural beauty products. The lip gloss smells like cherry Starburst to me and the color is a smidge darker than my natural lip color, making it a very good every day sheer lip gloss. The texture is a bit sticky. Overall, I really like this lip gloss and the next time I go to Sephora I'm going to try out a few more colors.

2. Jane Iredale PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner (full size $16.50)- Ok, I can always use a lash booster. This one is pretty good it gave my lashes more volume and kept my mascara from falling out. I'm not sure if I would specifically go out of my way to buy it because I am so happy with my Great Lash mascara, but it's pretty good!

3. Dr. T's Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30 (full size $42)- Hmmm, I feel half half on this product. I love how this sunscreen contains antioxidants and is good for your skin. I like how lightweight it is as well. The only thing that bothers me is that it melts into my eyes a few hours later which causes them to sting. Because I normally don't wear makeup I need a sunscreen that will stay completely matte on my face for hours. For that reason I probably will not purchase this product.



4. Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream (full size $26)- Oooooo! A Dr. Hauschka product! I've been seeing this line in Germany for so many years but I haven't really picked up much from his line. This cleansing cream is super gentle and good for sensitive skin. It comes out in a paste and you're supposed to roll it onto your skin and then wash off. It smells like a mixture of apples and roses, very soft and pleasant. I would definitely buy this product again.

5. Brad Ultra Peel (full size $175)- An exfoliating gel without exfoliating beads? Whaaaaat? This was the most interesting product I received in my box this month. It's a clear gel that exfoliates your skin without having to physically scrub it. After using it my skin looked smoother and cleaner than before. I have to admit the price tag is a bit too scary for me, but for those who can afford it it's quite good.

August Glossybox

Hello everyone!

How are all of you doing? August's Glossybox is here and I have to say that I am quite happy with this box! There is nothing better to coming home to a lovely box of goodies and getting a lipstick shade that actually flatters your skin. Let's take a look at what was inside of this month's box.



1. Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush in Marshmallow Pink (full size $12)- A moisturizing lip stain that tints your lips with just the right amount of juicy colour and hydrates like a balm. Apply liberally, purse and let the silky lightweight texture melt onto your lips. How fun is this pink lip stain? I absolutely love lip stains because they are comfortable to wear and generally look more natural. This soft petal pink lipstick looks more hot pink on the lips and looks really good with a post summer tan. I love it! Ok, next item...

2. ModelCo Eyeshadow in Bronze Goddess (full size $22)- When I first saw this sample eyeshadow trio in my box I was soo excited. However, it's not without flaws. The light golden color is very light and very very flakey. The color comes out in large flakes which is hard to blend out. The darker color doesn't seem to have this problem tho.



3. Anatomicals Spray Misty For me Facial Spritz (full size $9) - This facial spray is wonderful for a spritz while lounging at the beach or hiking the trails. It contains calming lavender and refreshing peppermint extracts, which help to rehydrate and revitalize skin. Suitable for normal, dry and sensitive skin. A part of the reason why I love Glossybox is that I get products that I would never usually pick up or try. This facial spritz is really fun and perfect for the scorching oven I'm currently living in. I sprayed it directly onto my face and it didn't irritate my eyes either. The smell is actually really pleasant and I love it!



4. Novex Brazilian Keratin Hair Care Treatment Cream (full size $4.99) - This hair care cream is an essential preemptive treatment in anticipation of the drier seasons. It contains replenishing hair proteins to restore shine and smoothness for all hair types. Start using it now for a healthy head of hair in the fall. Ok, I used this in the shower and left it in my hair for five minutes. It made my hair soft and a bit shinier.

5. Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Pressed Powder (full size $28) - Formulated with nourishing green tea and brightening vitamin C, this lightweight pressed powder controls shine and evens out skin tone while setting makeup. It‘s soft, natural-looking skin contained in a compact, a perfect companion to have in your purse while basking in the sun. With flexible Nylon-12, Triple C-Weed Pressed Powder won't settle into fine lines to ensure a flawless finish. This lightweight pressed powder comes in a mirror compact with an ultra modern micro-sponge, making it the perfect on-the-go companion. Wow, it's really generous of Glossybox to give us a full size powder compact. I have yet to try this compact because the shade looks really light. I will have to try it later for winter.

Tarte 12-Hour Amazonian Clay Blush in Fearless

Yes this is another Tarte post.. I just can't get enough of Tarte products, they're just so deliciously irresistible! Anyways, onto the newest piece of my collection of their Amazonian blushes. This time I opted for a warm pink blush called Fearless. I saw this blush as part of their Journey to Natural Beauty kit and decided to order it on it's own through Amazon.

It's a beautiful warm pink with flecks of golden sparkle. I love it. I am so happy. It almost reminds me of The Balm's Frat Boy except there is no peach to it, instead just perfect, all by itself pink. This one layers on faster than say Achiote so a light hand is preferable for a sheerer wash of color.

Today's review will by on the Balm's Frat Boy blush. I've accumulated a few peach blushes over the years, but a girl can never have too many blushes, right?

"This velvety smooth, peachy-apricot shadow/blush adds the perfect amount of color for a foxy flush so you look stellar around the clock. Frat Boy™ leaves you with a face that's pretty and polished. When you can't keep the boys away, blame it on the blush."

I have been eagerly waiting by my mailbox everyday to get this blush and I am so happy to finally receive it! The packaging is everything I wanted. Fun, pretty, and stylish. When I look at this blush it reminds me of hot men and that's never a bad thing. Anyways, I love how it has a snap magnetic closure, a mirror, and that it's travel size friendly. The color is a matte medium pink/peach and you ladies who love a good peach blush might just love this. It goes on light but builds up fast into a medium pink more so than a light peach. The color goes on smooth and lasts all day. I have no complaints about this blush and I can't help but smile when I look at it. You can purchase the blush at the website directly or at Sephora here. Lioele Blooming Gloss

Hello everyone!

So here is my review on the Lioele Blooming Glosses. I ordered three of these pretty lip glosses from Cosmetic Love a little while back. So while testing out these lovely glosses...I sadly had a tragic allergic reaction to them. *cries* However, being the trooper that I am I still decided to wear them a bit and give y'all a review. :) After all, just because one super allergic girl can't wear them, it doesn't mean the rest of you girls can't enjoy them! So here we go...

The colors are sheer and pretty and I especially loved the Vanilla Pink (top) and the Orange Sherbert (bottom). They go on sheer and oily, but not in a bad way. Only a little needs to be applied to get a really glossy effect. They also smell like lychee candy heaven. It reminds me of those fruit jelly cups from the Asian supermarkets that I used to eat when I was a kid.

I would definitely try these if you love sheer glosses. Hope you all will have fun trying these!

Skin Food Makeup

Hi everyone!

So today, I decided to check out the Korean skin care and beauty brand called Skin Food. I was first introduced to this brand a few years ago while I was abroad in Thailand, so I was really excited that it's finally here in California. They mostly have a range of skin care products that are named and made from fruit and vegetable ingredients.The packaging alone is really pretty and alluring.

Today, I decided to pick up a few of their makeup items which I will list below the name and link to them. Anyways, I got two cream blushes or "Rose Cheek Chalk" in a pink and peach color. I also got a lipstick that looks like a bright pink berry color. It's quite sheer but I like that. I also got a lip and cheek tint in a bright pink/orange. Their colors are also exactly like they show in the pots.

Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in Blissful

After hearing all the rave about Tarte's Amazonian clay 12-hour blush I had to get my hands on one and try it myself. At first I was doubtful because coral/pink can be a hard color to nail. However, once I tried it I was very happy! The color is so gorgeous and although it's bright, it doesn't look harsh against my skin. It's a beautiful mix between light pink and peach and I absolutely love it. It's a bit pricey at $25, but it looks good so it was a good buy for me. I'm definitely going to test out the other colors.
