Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara

Hello beauties! How is everyone doing? Today I will be reviewing Maybelline's Lash Stiletto mascara ($8.99). Every year when Allure reveals its Best of Beauty list, I go through it to pick and choose the items I want to try. Since I am a fan of long separated lashes (who isn't?) I decided to add this to my try list.

I admit, when I first picked this up I kind of thought meh.. it looks ok. After trying it out I have to say that it's not bad. The mascara doesn't come out clumpy and you can easily put on five or six coats without getting tarantula lashes. It lengthened well, but it didn't give much volume. The upside is that it didn't give me too bad panda eyes and I could get through the day with only a single touchup!

Quite a good mascara, but it still doesn't beat my Benefit BadGal Mascara. Thanks so much for reading and I hope everyone is having a great start to the New Year!

Our Fall and Winter Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? Today we're doing a post on our current fall and winter favorites. Here it goes!

1.Mini Mango Body Butter ($3) 2. Benefit they're real! mascara ($23) 3. Minus 417 Hand Moisturizer ($14) 4. Redken Diamond Oil Shampoo ($14)

I stumbled across this super cute body butter from The Body Shop at Ulta. It smells just like fresh mangos and it's super portable too. Of all the mascaras I've been trying lately, this Benefit mascara gives me big huge lashes! During winter my hands get super dry and this awesome hand cream keeps my hands moisturized. The best part is that it dries super fast. I couldn't resist the name of this shampoo and conditioner from Redken. This duo leaves my hair super shiny and soft. It also smells AMAZING.

5. The Girls Are Out by Essie ($8.50) 6. Plumberry by Essie ($8.50)

Even though it is winter time, I am still a fan of keeping my nail polish colors girly and feminine. I love this gorgeous fuchsia nail polish by Essie. It looks really flattering on medium skin and could work for all seasons. Next, this nail polish reminds me of cranberries on the mistletoe. It's a beautiful holiday color.

7. Tarte Frisky Clay Blush ($26) 8. Tarte Lipsurgence in Lust ($26)

Winter weather means goodbye sunshine and hello snow and rain. I picked the next two items to create that pretty red flush on the cheeks that happens when we're out in the cold. Tarte's Frisky and Lust LipSurgence do just the trick.

Yen here! My summer faves have officially rolled into my fall & winter faves and the only product I'm slowly getting into is a darker berry lip color. Or at least trying to find my perfect winter lip color. Urban Decay's Naked Skin Beauty Balm has been one of my top favorites as of late... It even trumps my favorite BB cream from Maybelline, which says a lot since I was pretty gun-ho about that product.

October Glossybox

Hi everyone!

Today I will be reviewing the latest Byrdie box from October's Glossybox. I was so happy to receive this month's box. Glossybox sent out items from Tarte and Fresh this month, which are two of my favorite beauty brands! Lets take a look at what was inside the box..

1. Tarte's Lights, Camera, Flashes, Statement Mascara (full size $23)- Amazing! A full sized mascara from Tarte, whoo hoo! I got gorgeous long feathery non clumpy lashes with this mascara. The wand has two different sides. The first side gives volume to your lashes, and the second is to comb out the clumps. The only downside was that I had some fallout with this mascara.

2. Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream (full size $42)- A daily age-defying moisturizer formulated with Fresh’s proprietary Super 7 Complex, proven to prevent the signs of aging, provide 24 hours of significant moisture, and boost radiance. Sometimes I really feel like Glossybox can read my mind. I've been eyeing this face cream for a while now but haven't take the plunge on it yet. The sample I received was a generous sized sample, yay! The face cream is super lightweight and fast absorbing. My skin didn't feel greasy or dry. It felt hydrated, refreshed and super clear the next day. I would buy this!

3. Balance Me Shine On! Tinted Lip Salve (full size $16.50)-Ok.. so I wasn't too excited about this lip salve because I got such an unappetizing color. The color I got was like a brown beige color. Other than that, the salve itself is really moisturizing and nice.

4. Sesha Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Mask (full size $9)- Packed with nutrients, peptides, vitamins, and botanical extracts, this anti-wrinkle mask not only smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, it also calms the skin from environmental stresses to rejuvenate it back to a youthful glow. Awesome, another face mask. I love face masks because they're so easy to use and give me the boost my skin needs. This mask was really moisturizing and packed full of hyaluronic acid, which left my skin looking taut and young.

5. Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Au The Vert Eau De Cologne (full size $85)- This green tea cologne is suitable for both men and women. Spritz and enjoy. Although I'm not a big fan of perfume, this one smells sophisticated and minty.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara

Hi beauties! How are you all doing today? Today I will be reviewing Cover Girl's Clump Crusher mascara ($9) - So adding to my new love for drugstore mascara Clump Crusher is pretty awesome. This mascara is the anti-goop of mascaras. If you love separated long and defined lashes, then this is a great mascara for you. It's like Lancome Definicils but one third the price!

I like how natural the mascara makes my lashes look. It makes them longer and more defined but not too showy. I would recommend this mascara if you don't want a too made up look and prefer something easy for every day wear. I don't really get much fallout with this mascara either, a definite plus.

Finally, the curved wand makes applying mascara to your lashes quick and easy. It also comes in black and brown too. Yay!

Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Mascara

Hello everyone!

So lately I've been on a real quest to find the best drugstore mascaras out there. Some have been good and some have been great such as Maybelline's Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Mascara ($5). First of all, this mascara is FIVE DOLLARS, which is pretty amazing to me. With that said, it also delivers awesome results. It made my lashes super long and voluminous without looking clumpy. I love the brush and how separating it is. Also, it's a non-waterproof mascara, but it didn't cause any fallout either. At the end of the day, it washes off easy too.

My boyfriend, who is completely clueless about makeup actually commented on how long my lashes look. For someone who refers to makeup as "that stuff on your eyes," it must be a good sign. I also tried the waterproof version of Great Lash, but it was a complete fail. It caused so much fallout that it went straight to the trash bin for me.

The only downfall of this mascara is that it's not as glossy as I would like it to be. This is me being super picky tho, as the mascara is only five bucks. I will still be trying out more drugstore mascaras to come. Stay tuned!

P.S. What are your favorite drugstore mascaras?

Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara

Hello everyone,

Recently I have been on a mascara kick. I've been searching high and low for the perfect drugstore mascara because hey! Why spend 30 on brand name mascaras when I can get them way cheaper? Right? I first started with Clinique which is still pretty fancy, but has a much lower price than the last mascara I tried which had a 30 dollar price tag (waaay too much). I thought Clinique's Naturally Glossy Mascara in Jet Brown ($16) was mediocre. Honestly, I was really excited to try it out but it fell short of my expectations. It's not that it was bad, it's just that I had much higher expectations after reading the good reviews on Sephora.

First, I really liked the color. The brown is perfect dark chocolate brown which matches my hair just right. However, the mascara I got felt like there wasn't much in the tube. I really had to swish it around to get some goop on my wand. Then, it has quite a bit of fallout. After wearing it I ended up with raccoon eyes a bit. Overall, it definitely is not a volumnizing mascara but it does give some length. I would say that it's a much less dazzling version of Lancome's Definicils mascara.

I probably would not repurchase this item again and would opt for something comparable yet cheaper such as Boot's No7 Extreme Length Mascara ($8) instead.

What are your favorite mascaras? Let us know in the comments below! Thanks for reading. :)

FairyDrops Mascara

Hello everyone,

Today I will be reviewing FairyDrops Volume Burst Mascara ($20.99). I recently took a trip to Little Tokyo in Los Angeles and picked this up in Maneki Neko which is one of their huge makeup stores. I've had my eye on FairyDrops mascaras for a while now and I just couldn't resist the super cute and crazy packaging.

Maneki had a few in stock and I decided to try this one, which is the normal non-waterproof volume version and also the purple waterproof version. I liked this one better because it didn't make my lashes go in different directions which the purple one did. I've had it on for five hours now and it hasn't smudged or budged one bit, pretty impressive.

I have long straight lashes and this mascara does a good job at giving them volume and a slight curl. However, it can get a bit clumpy. Personally, I prefer mascaras that give more length over volume because I like them clean and defined. I would invest in this mascara if you like mascaras that don't run (who doesn't?) and prefer volume over length. Either way, the fun pink packaging just makes me sooo happy, so so happy. This particular mascara is challenging to find online, but the Scandal Queen version is available on Amazon.

Thanks so much for reading! Have any of you tried FairDrops products? What are your favorite mascaras? Let us know! <3
