Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara

Hello beauties! How is everyone doing? Today I will be reviewing Maybelline's Lash Stiletto mascara ($8.99). Every year when Allure reveals its Best of Beauty list, I go through it to pick and choose the items I want to try. Since I am a fan of long separated lashes (who isn't?) I decided to add this to my try list.

I admit, when I first picked this up I kind of thought meh.. it looks ok. After trying it out I have to say that it's not bad. The mascara doesn't come out clumpy and you can easily put on five or six coats without getting tarantula lashes. It lengthened well, but it didn't give much volume. The upside is that it didn't give me too bad panda eyes and I could get through the day with only a single touchup!

Quite a good mascara, but it still doesn't beat my Benefit BadGal Mascara. Thanks so much for reading and I hope everyone is having a great start to the New Year!

Our Fall and Winter Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? Today we're doing a post on our current fall and winter favorites. Here it goes!

1.Mini Mango Body Butter ($3) 2. Benefit they're real! mascara ($23) 3. Minus 417 Hand Moisturizer ($14) 4. Redken Diamond Oil Shampoo ($14)

I stumbled across this super cute body butter from The Body Shop at Ulta. It smells just like fresh mangos and it's super portable too. Of all the mascaras I've been trying lately, this Benefit mascara gives me big huge lashes! During winter my hands get super dry and this awesome hand cream keeps my hands moisturized. The best part is that it dries super fast. I couldn't resist the name of this shampoo and conditioner from Redken. This duo leaves my hair super shiny and soft. It also smells AMAZING.

5. The Girls Are Out by Essie ($8.50) 6. Plumberry by Essie ($8.50)

Even though it is winter time, I am still a fan of keeping my nail polish colors girly and feminine. I love this gorgeous fuchsia nail polish by Essie. It looks really flattering on medium skin and could work for all seasons. Next, this nail polish reminds me of cranberries on the mistletoe. It's a beautiful holiday color.

7. Tarte Frisky Clay Blush ($26) 8. Tarte Lipsurgence in Lust ($26)

Winter weather means goodbye sunshine and hello snow and rain. I picked the next two items to create that pretty red flush on the cheeks that happens when we're out in the cold. Tarte's Frisky and Lust LipSurgence do just the trick.

Yen here! My summer faves have officially rolled into my fall & winter faves and the only product I'm slowly getting into is a darker berry lip color. Or at least trying to find my perfect winter lip color. Urban Decay's Naked Skin Beauty Balm has been one of my top favorites as of late... It even trumps my favorite BB cream from Maybelline, which says a lot since I was pretty gun-ho about that product.

1. NYM Clean Freak Dry Shampoo | retail $6

2. Elie Saab 'Le Parfum' | retail $78

3. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle retail $30

4. Benefit Hoola Bronzer | retail $28

5. Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm | retail $38

6. Maybelline Color Whisper in Berry Ready retail $7.49

7. Benefit They're Real Mascara Deluxe Mini | retail $10

8. Kate Spade Twirl Perfume retail $31.50

Maybelline Baby Lips Dr Rescue in Berry Soft

Fall is here! Which means Winter is right around the corner and chapped lips is not a good look for anyone. Ever.

I am a sucker for these baby lips even though I don't think they're that amazing, but I like that these are medicated care + 12 HR hydration, soothes quickly with a hint of eucalyptus and cools sore lips with a touch of icy menthol. The color is a really nice soft berry which compliments my natural lip color.

Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Mascara

Hello everyone!

So lately I've been on a real quest to find the best drugstore mascaras out there. Some have been good and some have been great such as Maybelline's Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Mascara ($5). First of all, this mascara is FIVE DOLLARS, which is pretty amazing to me. With that said, it also delivers awesome results. It made my lashes super long and voluminous without looking clumpy. I love the brush and how separating it is. Also, it's a non-waterproof mascara, but it didn't cause any fallout either. At the end of the day, it washes off easy too.

My boyfriend, who is completely clueless about makeup actually commented on how long my lashes look. For someone who refers to makeup as "that stuff on your eyes," it must be a good sign. I also tried the waterproof version of Great Lash, but it was a complete fail. It caused so much fallout that it went straight to the trash bin for me.

The only downfall of this mascara is that it's not as glossy as I would like it to be. This is me being super picky tho, as the mascara is only five bucks. I will still be trying out more drugstore mascaras to come. Stay tuned!

P.S. What are your favorite drugstore mascaras?

Maybelline Vivids Lipstick

Hi everyone!

Today I will be reviewing Maybelline's Color Sensational Vivids Lipcolor ($7.49). After seeing and hearing so much about these lipsticks I decided to give them a go. They deliver a smooth and saturated finish and at seven dollars a piece they are extremely affordable. I went to Ulta and picked up the shades Shocking Coral, Vibrant Mandarin, On Fire Red, and Vivid Rose. All of the shades are super easy to apply and leave a bright and somewhat glossy finish.

My favorite of the bunch is definitely Vibrant Mandarin which is a super bright coral orange. I mean, it is BRIGHT. These lipsticks are definitely not for the faint of heart as they are as vivd as they come. Shocking Coral is more of a bright pink and less of a coral for me. On Fire Red is a neutral red that is darker than my NSFW Lip Tar and less pink. It's not as flattering as NSFW is on my skin. Vivid Rose is a bright Fuschia pink.

All of these lipsticks are a lot of fun and something I would wear on occasion when the mood strikes me right. I've been really loving bold and bright lipsticks this year and I just can't get enough cha cha cha.

*From top to bottoms: Shocking Coral, Vibrant Mandarin, On Fire Red, and Vivid Rose.

Have any of you picked up Maybelline Vivids? If so what did you think of them? Again, thank you so much for reading and feel free to leave us a comment or follow us via bloglovin if you enjoy our blog. Until next time! <3 :)

Maybelline Super Stay 10 hr Stain Gloss in Cool Coral

Hello everyone,

Today I will be reviewing Maybelline's Super Stay 10 Hour Stain Gloss in Cool Coral. I first saw this lip stain on Chriselle Lim's blog and thought it was so beautiful that I had to get one too to try. I bought mine on Amazon for seven dollars. The applicator is a doe foot and the stain feels sheer and liquid. It definitely stains as I had to use a makeup remover to get all of the color off. The liquid gloss applies really sheer and not so evenly either. It's hard to keep it perfectly within your lip lines.

It smells like yummy fruit punch and it looks like the type of raspberry red/pink stain that you would get from drinking really red punch. On me, it looks terrible. It made my medium skin look sallow and my teeth yellow. Tragic.

Maybelline Color Whisper

New addiction- Maybelline Color Whisper. I've seen a couple Youtube beauty gurus rave about this and was lucky enough to score a couple colors at my local Walgreens. I picked up #85 Berry Ready, #100 A Plum Prospect and #30 Pin Up Peach. My favorite is definitely 'a plum prospect'. Berry Ready is also a gorgeous color, but a little too bold for daily wear. The formula is really smooth and lasts a good couple hours before you have to reapply. Berry Ready does give you a slight stain if you're into that. They're very similar to the Revlon balm stains I posted about last year. What are your current favorite lip products?
