Bumble and Bumble Creme de Coco Shampoo

Hello everyone!

Today I will be reviewing Bumble and Bumble's Creme de Coco Shampoo (full size $24)- Sooooo, I was browsing Sephora a while back for a new Shampoo because.. why not? I picked this up and somewhere in between the words "murumuru butters" and "shimmer" I ended up in the checkout line.

I have to admit the price tag scared me and intrigued me at the same time. After using the entire bottle, I have to say that it's worth it if you have dry hair. The texture is sticky and it looks shimmery. It doesn't lather easily in your hair, but it does leave your hair soft and shiny. No I mean like really shiny. When I was younger I used to dye and fry my hair. I practically experimented with the colors of the rainbow in my hair for eight years straight.

Now, I just want to regrow my hair and make it healthy and strong again. It took me about four months to use this entire bottle which isn't too bad. Definitely give it a try if you want shiny hair and you don't mind your hair not getting squeaky clean. I recommend getting a sample at Sephora first before committing to buy it. I wasn't fan of Creme de Coco at first, but after a month of two I really liked it.

Living Proof, The Full Collection

When Sephora's black friday sale went up, I was actually at Best Buy refreshing the app like a crazy person. I knew that if I didn't get what I wanted now, it will more than likely be sold out. One of the products I ordered was this Living Proof collection and after only one use, what a huge difference it made. Since it's winter, my hair has been pretty limp, dull and extremely staticy. After using the shampoo and conditioner once, I immediately notice that my hair grew in volume... even the next day. I know this isn't even their thickening line, but for my hair? It brought it back to life! Now, I really want to try their No Frizz Shampoo. Have you tried it? Or tried any of their products? What did you think?

Nature's Gate Asian Pear & Red Tea Shampoo and Conditioner

Hello everyone!

Today I will be reviewing Nature's Gate Asian Pear & Red Tea Shampoo and Conditioner ($9 each). How are all of our lovely readers doing? I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer. I know I am really enjoying the summer sun and just being outdoors. Anyways, back to the review. So, this is actually the second time I ended up buying a shampoo from Nature's Gate. I have mixed feelings about the results of the product, but the smell, ohhh the smell is ridiculously good. It smells exactly like freshly crushed pears in a bottle. Soo good, right?

I'm just a sucker for good smelling products. The shampoo and conditioner itself are good, but not great. I have extremely dry hair and I still need something a bit more conditioning. Redken's All Soft Conditioner is a really good one. Also, something about this shampoo causes my scalp to flake. Gross I know, sorry. After buying this shampoo for a second time and seeing the same issue, I don't think I will be purchasing it again. I may however keep the conditioner in my steady rotation of shower items. A little bit of Asian pear conditioner never hurts anyone. :)

Alterna Bamboo Trio

Once in a while, I'll get a product that just isn't that great. This would be one of them. After getting a free sample of Alterna hair shine mist and loving it, I thought I would give this Alterna Bamboo Smooth Try Me Trio ($15) a shot. First, the shampoo didn't spread through my hair nicely at all. My hair didn't feel clean after I washed it. I don't think the conditioner did much for my dry hair either. My hair just felt a bit brittle after using this product. As for the hair oil, I didn't like how goopy it felt. Mehhh. I tried to use these products a few times, but after a while I just tossed them out.

September Glossybox

September's Glossybox is all about new products, formulas, technologies and colors of the season. I usually never look on their site or search through Instagram to see what the next box may contain, but after such an amazing box last month, I was curious. I did watch an unboxing on Youtube and I was getting pretty excited to receive my box!

I received Global Keratin shampoo and conditioner. For me personally, I wasn't too thrilled about the samples since we just received some a couple months back. The shampoo is nourished with plant extracts and it'll purify and moisturize the scalp and hair. The condition will put the finishing touch on your tresses and leaves hair smooth, radiant and revitalized. First off, I love the smell of both products. To me, it smells like perfume I either own or have owned before, so that's a plus. I used both shampoo and conditioner and my hair was nice and soft, but I noticed my hair was pretty greasy at the end of the day. Full size is $20 each for 10.1oz

Next product is the Kryolan for Glossybox lip in glossy pink. I think everyone received glossy pink since Kryolan collabrated with Glossybox to create this lipstick. The color is really pretty and is enriched with Vitamin E to stimulate and hydrate lips. It's also a very universal color and will compliment all skin tones. For once, a subscription box has finally given a product that EVERYONE can wear! For me, when I tried it on, the pink was a little bright, but after looking at it for awhile I think it really compliments of my skin tone. Full size is $14 for 0.14oz

The most talked about and raved product is probably the Missha BB Cream. This product is from Korea and if you don't know, BB in BB cream means blemish balm and this multi-use cream provides light coverage, soothes, protects and moisturizes your face. I unfortunately received Natural Beige #23 and when I tested it, it was a little light for my skin tone right now. I think it'll be great to use during winter when my skin gets lighter. Overall, it was a little thicker than my Maybelline BB cream, but it was really smooth to blend out. Full size is $29.99 for 1.69oz

Lastly, I did not receive the makeup remover and I'm not going to lie, I am so sad :( Instead, I received OC 8 Professional Mattifying Gel and it's suppose to control your shine all day long while helping you achieve a fresh and flawless even tone. As disappointed as I was, I did try it on the other day... you're suppose to wear it before you put your makeup on, but I failed to read the instructions and applied it after I put on my BB cream. This stuff is seriously amazing! It was a pretty hot day out and I was out running errands and usually my skin does get really shiny and I was so surprised that at the end of the day, my skin was still flawless and shine free. Sebastian Color Ignite Shampoo and Conditioner Review

One, or two of the first products I tried from my Glossybox was the Sebastian Professional Color Ignite Shampoo and Conditioner. For samples, these have got to be the best trial samples I've ever received. The shampoo alone will give you at least 2-3 washes or more if you have short hair. The smell itself is amazing! The conditioner is alright. I really like that the texture is more like a mousse and just one pump goes a long way. You can definitely get quite a few uses out of the conditioner. The only downfall is the smell.

Regular price for the full product is about $16/$16.50 I believe. Would I purchase it? Probably not. As much as I enjoyed the samples, I already love the shampoo I use now and I barely buy conditioners.

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Shampoo

I have this weird thing about having a variety of shampoo in my shower. I currently have 6 bottles! I also wash my hair every day, which I know is bad for your hair, but my hair turns into a giant grease ball the next day and I'm constantly itching. So, instead of using the same shampoo every day, I like to switch it up because it makes my hair feel softer. Though, I've noticed that when I use some of my more natural, Organic shampoo it actually dries out my hair!

What I love most about the Alba Botanica shampoo is the smell. I only purchase the Plumeria one mainly because I love the scent so much. On top of that, this is the only shampoo that I can use daily without it drying out my hair. I usually do not use conditioner and sadly, I accidently picked up a conditioner thinking it was shampoo! I hate it when people misplace things on the shelves!!! Depending on where you go, this shampoo can be pretty costly at about $10-12, but I usually get mine at my local Safeway when it's on sale for abut $5-6.99. I have seen Walgreens and Target ranging in the high $10 range which yea, it's worth it, but I'm kinda cheap. You also check out the other shampoos that they offer on their website.
